Progress?

I just got done working with my physical therapist and my occupational therapist and my body is exhausted. I stood up from bed for 2 minutes, 2 times for PT. The most painful part of standing up?… my neck and head. I don’t have the strength to hold up my own head.

OT worked with me as soon as PT was done. I sat up at the edge of my bed. It doesn’t sound like much, but it was a lot of work. OT won’t be back until I text her that I received the commode I need. I can’t afford it until next month. I need a drop arm and a high seat. There are a couple in my Amazon Medical Wishlist.

My personal support person (paid caregiver) or PSP has gone out in an attempt to find a local place that carries my scooter batteries. The scooter died on Wednesday, Amazon, Walmart, the major hardware stores have them but can’t get them to me until June 2nd at the earliest. Meanwhile I have to get to dialysis 5 times. Looking for to borrow a narrow enough wheelchair has been a challenge. The search continues.
